Bob,tonawanda:As a resident of tonawanda and a parent of two grown children,it appears to me school busing is out of control. When my two boys went to kenmore east and were denied busing due to being one block short of the guide lines,i drove them to school from montrose ave. This school year i watch the school bus drive east on lincoln park turn south on montrose to decatur. At that corner 14 high school age kids come off the bus and walk back on montrose north to lincoln park and back to the apartments on claremont and parkhurst. What is the reason for this ? Are they not eligible to be on the bus,do they have addresses in town or dont qualify for free transportaion.I think some one should police this action and see if this is abuse of our school busing. In addition they are the most unruly crowd swearing walking on lawns and in the middle of the street. We are concerned about there safety on the bus and when let off all kind of lights are flashing. They could care less after exiting. Where is the town going with kids acting like no rule idiots and if they do live in the town.Is it just a address? We have all heard of students useing town addresses maybe thats why the bus dosent know were to drop 14 kids off. Town please look into this matter and save our hard earned money.
