Could someone please tell me if the Cheektowaga garbage men get to go home when their work is done like in Buffalo or do they work an actual 8 hours??? I am sick & tired of picking up my garbage from all over the front of my property. They hurry and spill garbage everywhere, everyweek. There seems to be a problem especially with Kitty litter..... I see it spilled all over the neighborhood. I put the used litter in closed containers or tied bags. Sure enough, every week, there's the kitty litter all over the front of my driveway. People on the next street said they too have the same problem, no matter what container the litter is in, it gets spilled all over her driveway. On my way home from work I saw it spilled at another home, all over the driveway!I refuse to call the Town because then I will have more problems and more broken & smashed garbage cans. |

Just make sure to ask for the supervisor. The one women that answers the phone is rude and obnoxious. I call each and everytime they spill garbage, throw my cans, or don't pick something up. I feared retaliation as well, but it didn't happen when I called the supervisor. Remember, it our taxes paying their salaray & we should get what we pay for. And the squeaky wheel gets the oil! |
