Clayton Fleckenstein
Clayton W. Fleckenstein, 71, of Springville, June 10, at Gowanda Nursing Home.

He was born in West Valley in 1940, the son of the late Francis and Edna (nee Hedges) Fleckenstein. He farmed and cooked. He had been a laborer for Palmer Farms in Holland.

He was the husband of Sueann (nee Fuller) Fleckenstein; father of Todd Fleckenstein [Fitzgerald], Diane (Chris) Lockhart of Michigan, William Fleckenstein of Michigan, Renee Wiedeman of Freedom, Tanya (Jerome) Sebzda of Springville and Denise Fleckenstein of Cheektowaga and the late Tracy Fleckenstein. He was the grandfather of 11 grandchildren and the late Natalie; great-grandfather of two great-grandchildren; brother of Wayne, Joe, Roger, Ray, Joyce, Dawn, Veronica, Mary and Ann.

Funeral services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made by the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 East Main St., Springville.

Husband of Jacqueline (nee Haney) May; father of Sabrina, Gerald, Garrett and Sandra May; son of Arthur and Martha May; brother of Dianna Southward and the late John May. A Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Boston on Saturday, June 23. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Arrangements were made by Wurtz Funeral Home, 9287 Boston State Road, Boston.
