Springville baseball players smash through the competition

On June 25, the Springville 9- and 10-year-old team won against Orchard Park during a tournament held in Concord Community Park from Thursday, June 21 – Tuesday, June 26.

Springville took down its competition in a 19 – 5 win.

After playing against Orchard Park, the Springville boys went on to compete against Southline’s team on June 26. Springville won 7 – 4.

The local team will now advance to play in Tonawanda on Sunday afternoon, July 1 at 1 p.m. against the winner of a game between Orchard Park and Grand Island.

The Springville boys baseball team is coached by Brent Raiber.
