I don’t understand why the town supervisor allowed a guy from the audience to make a political speech. It was inappropriate. It sounded like “sour grapes.” This guy went crazy. While he was pointing his finger at the newly elected town supervisor, he was making false statements, bashing and was very rude to her. He was accusing her for water problems on his property, accusing her for all the noise around his house, accusing her for Waste Management’s plant problems and accusing her for the town entering a lawsuit against the ZBA. The present town supervisor, with a big smile on her face, finally said that was enough.
I don’t understand why the town supervisor acted as she did on the Waste Management Host Municipality agreement, accusing the past administration for doing a poor job of writing and agreeing to the first agreement. She wanted to show the town her power and control by forcing this new agreement upon the people of Sardinia.
I don’t understand the town supervisor’s statement concerning the town of Sardinia costs for the Springville Control Center Agreement. She said that the town of Sardinia costs would be equal to the village of Springville and the town of Concord. She looked at one of the councilmen and he agreed with her. The town attorney stepped in and said that was not true. Sardinia would pay 23 percent of costs while Springville and Concord would pay 77 percent of costs. Why is the town supervisor deceiving people?
I don’t understand why the town supervisor is forcing these issues upon the people of Sardinia. Is it because she wants to leave a mark upon her administration? So far as I can see, she has already established her mark upon the town and that is excessive “$” spent. The money keeps going out and out. What’s left for the senior citizen? What’s left for future development? What’s left to help the taxpayer?
