James H. Gibbin has been admitted to the Bar and is now associated with the law firm of Diebold and Diebold, Buffalo.
Mr. and Mrs. George Robinson of Altadena, California are spending some time with Mr. Robinson’s daughter, Mrs. Roye Goodrich, and Mr. Goodrich before going to Florida for the winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Mitchell of Snyder were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Knepflar and family.
Charles Hampton is attending the G.E. Television Technicians School at Buffalo this week.

Dr. William S. McMahon of South Edgewood Drive, Springville has been re-elected to active membership in the American Academy of General Practice, the national association of family doctors.
In a ceremony at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey, Master Sergeant Paul F. Spencer was retired after 23 years of active service. Sgt. Spencer flew as a flight engineer in both Korea and Vietnam, as well a nearly every other part of the world.
The G.I. football team finished the 1969 season with a record of 4-3-1.

Hartwick College football player Paul Paddock, 1999 Springville-Griffith Institute graduate, was recognized as the Upstate new York Rookie of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference after helping Hartwick beat Mount Ida College 56-16 last Saturday.

In a race for the Concord Town Board incumbent Councilman Mark Steffan has defeated challenger John E. Allen by a 20 vote margin.
